Our next game club meeting will be on Thursday, November 18 from 5p.m. – 7p.m. in BA 2179, which is the same time and room as last week’s meeting.
This week, Barry will be giving a talk about the games that he has created over past few years and how he made them. Barry is a former 1st place winner of GMD and has also won some other game-making competitions. You should definitely check out and play Barry’s amazing catalogue of games, which are posted up on the forums at http://forum.utgddc.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=1323, in order to get a good idea of the type of creativity, originality, and technical skill that goes into his work. This talk should also be beneficial as a means to further prepare you for our upcoming GMD, which will begin near the end of this month.
It should be a fun meeting, and we hope to see you there.
P.S. If you’re interested in helping out with the browser-based “Sim City†game that we discussed during last week’s meeting, then please send an email to Frankie at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact info.
